Topco’s Brand Management Team develops and manages the brand portfolio and shopper engagement strategies to drive shopper loyalty at Topco’s grocery member retailers. These strategies enable each touchpoint or interaction an opportunity to strengthen our Own Brands equity and support achieving our members overall business objectives and corporate initiatives along with maintaining a positive corporate reputation in the market.
Under the direction of the Senior Brand Manager, the Brand Manager will be responsible for managing multiple Own Brands in various food or non-edible grocery channel product categories. Specifically, this individual is responsible for gathering and converting marketplace trends and shopper insights into solid brand strategies. The Brand Manager is expected to leverage established brand strategies to shape all go to market plans for each brand including but not limited to creative direction and messaging on product packaging and other shopper communication materials, product features and benefit claims, and portfolio category expansion plans. In addition, in partnership with cross-functional partners across the organization, this individual acts as a strategic advisor to our members across the United States.

The Business Analyst will support the Topco Product Transparency Initiative by managing various activities and analysis to facilitate the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Topco and Member brands within the program. The Analyst will synthesize external and internal data and track progress to ensure continuous delivery of all elements within the workflow. Through monitoring of the data and output quality, the Analyst may identify process gaps, which will require problem solving with stakeholders and subject matter experts. The Analyst’s principal responsibility will be to facilitate the transfer of data, formulate and interpret reports, and take corrective action as needed in order to deliver a successful program to Topco and its members.

The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for leading the short term (day to day) strategic sourcing strategy and execution for their categories under the supervision of their sourcing lead. They are responsible for ensuring that their categories are delivered to the member at a total lowest cost of ownership, achieve maximum member participation, and enhance the competitive position and profitability of Topco member companies. The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for achieving department goals (productivity), and working with their program counterpart to drive value added category results and innovation. The Sourcing Analyst is also responsible for the daily execution of the transactions for their categories including cost uploads, productivity reporting and responding to supplier/member inquiries. The Sourcing Analyst will manage less than $65MM in Procurement spend.

The Project Manager will be a strategic partner within the business who will manage the activities of a variety of key project and process-based initiatives in order to improve operational efficiencies across the Topco organization. In partnership with other team members, they will develop project scope and define deliverables, act as project champion/owner, monitor all activities for day to day execution of initiatives, manage all documentation and reporting, and develop and manage timelines, schedules, milestones and action items throughout the intiative's lifecycle to meet the anticipated project completion date. The PM will manage risk by identifying and communicating potential issues that may affect scope, budget and project timelines. This position will be responsible for analyzing levels of commodity risk present in various areas of Topco. Identify and protect against commodity fluctuation where applicable. Work with various Topco departments as well as the membership to develop optimal procurement strategies that maximize risk avoidance. Verify vendor price changes using applicable commodity data. Responsible for developing/maintaining forecast models to aid procurement strategies. Responsible for developing/delivering presentations at applicable Member Action Committee meetings, as well as for individual members.
