Overview

Topco Associates is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Customer Service Representative for our Treasury and Finance department in Itasca, IL. This position will be a hybrid role, with the successful candidate conducting work in our Itasca office three times per week and virtual twice per week. 

 

The A/R Customer Service Representative communicates with Topco members, suppliers, and Topco procurement associates to resolve billing and collection disputes, maintain members' weekly A/R statements and pending write off items, while promoting the delivery of optimal accounting services to the members.   

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: 

  • Reviews documents submitted by members and suppliers, deciding action to be taken, and using on-line systems to process and route information in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Communicates with members and vendors on past due invoices to ensure prompt payment of monies due to Topco.
  • Maintains phone and  written communication with members to research and resolves inquiries about billed and unbilled orders in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the member.
  • Performs other duties including some or all of the following:  Substituting for senior A/R associates and ensuring work flow; research; cash application; file maintenance; report preparation. 
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

4 year College Degree, preferred

 

Technical skills:

  • A/R - A/P backround
  • Knowledge of Excel & Word
  • Some SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Organized
  • Self starter
  • Independent
  • Excellent written/oral communication

 

Previous Experience:

2 Years A/R-A/P Customer Service  experience
