    Topco Associates is currently seeking an Associate Program Manager for the Indirect Spend team in Quicy, MA.

     

    The Associate Program Manager will support specific Indirect Spend categories and coordinate sourcing initiatives with representatives from our member-owner organizations.  They will work with external member associates to understand member priorities and collaborate with internal Indirect Spend Category leads to facilitate member priorities as well as coordinate sourcing project pipelines on a regular basis.  This role will be responsible for the category specific data collection process, driving award decisions, and reporting of member key performance indicators (KPIs).

    Responsibilities

    Program Coordination

    • Facilitate member participation in category-specific sourcing initiatives
    • Coordinate category specific communications between member stakeholders and category lead from project announcement through the award of business
    • Manage resolution of member issues as necessary for assigned categories
    • Collect productivity (savings) confirmations and coordinate assigned categories’ productivity process
    • Execute category specific member communication plans and process for ISP related to annual sourcing plans, updates, and metrics

    Planning

    • Assist category lead with annual sourcing plan and member response process
    • Understand and communicate reasons for non-participation
    • Assure member alignment with category forecasts and spend reporting

    Relationship Management

    • Act as the category program interface for member stakeholders for assigned ISP categories
    • Elevate category-specific issues and collaborate across category teams, account management, and leadership to drive timely resolution
    • Provide continuous improvement opportunities to member stakeholders

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2 - 3 years in project management/business management/business analytics
    • Sourcing management, procurement management, commodity management preferred
    • Market/supplier analysis, experience in a grocery or other retail industry a plus

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced spreadsheet knowledge, along with Access and PowerPoint
    • Strong attention to detail
